Shamil Basaev meeting of commands of the front sectors

According to information given by a source at the Military Committee of the State Committee for Defense Majlisul Shura of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI) the Commander (Amir) of Mujahiddeens Abdallah Shamil Abu-Idris held meeting of commanders of front sectors of the CRI. Deputy commanders took part at the sitting as well.

 

According to information of source in April-June Abdallah Shamil Abu-Idris (Shamil Basaev) made inspection trip throughout the North Caucasus. He visited Karachaevo-Cherkesia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Chechnya.

 

Meanwhile sources of the Kavkaz-Center IA report on bombarding intensively the Vedeno Region of CRI by the Russian aggressors. According to evidences of inhabitants of this region active hostilities are conducted in the region Vedeno-Eshilkhatoy-Elistanzhi. Russian troops and detachments of collaborationists bear losses. At present exact information on these events is non-available. However sources report on transfer of additional enemy troops to the site of hostilities from Khankala.
