The western mass-media, with a mark urgently, have reported about the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi whom western propaganda named as "Amir of al-Qaeda in Iraq".
According to reports Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed in air raid north of Baghdad.
Puppet "prime-minister" of Iraq Nouri Al-Maliki and the commander of occupational forces in Iraq George Casey, have gave a news conference and congratulated puppet regime with this "victory".
It is necessary to remember that western mass-media have repeatedly reported about al-Zarqawi's death but this information appears doubtful.
Also, al-Zarqawi's role in Iraqi resistance is unclear. Many Arab analysts and commentators have named his figure as a virtual and exaggerated by western mass media propaganda. Besides, the leaders of al-Qaeda bin Laden and al-Zawahiri in their statements have never mentioned al-Zarqawi's name in connection with Iraq (not including the doubtful "interceptions" of letters by CIA). This in itself is rather indicative.
In this connection the other "elimination of al-Zarqawi" can be an attempt by occupational forces to bring a propaganda situation to their own advantage on the basis of invaders' and puppets' constant failures in Iraq and the background of total war.
It is likely that al-Zarqawi's virtual role did not provide more propaganda results and it was decided to "get rid of him". Besides, the murder of peaceful Iraqis has been accredited to al-Zarqawi. These charges are entertaining given the background of killing of innocent people by American occupation troops.
Anyway, by the time of the arranged celebration in connection with "al-Zarqawi's elimination", he had probably been finally killed. However this unlikely to improve invaders' and puppets' situation in Iraq.
