5 More Zionist Tanks Destroyed, Numbers of Zionists Annihilated in Lebanon

According to latest reports from the war zone, Hezbollah fighters on Monday (July 24) destroyed 5 Zionist tanks and killed several Zionist soldiers in the Maroun ar-Raas area. Italian Service of  Radio Tehran International

citing TV Al-Alam told about  the destruction of a Zionist armored personnel carrier. TV Al Arabia TV reports on the basis of Hezbollah sources about the  extermination of at least 6 armed Zionist terrorists in the area.

In other developments, Iran\'s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Seyed Yahya Rahim Safavi said Lebanon\'s Hezbollah is on the verge of victory due to the strength and resistance of its combatants and its potentials and the people\'s support for it.

Addressing thousands of university students in Tehran on Sunday, he referred to Hezbollah as the symbol of the strength and resistance of the Lebanese people.

He noted: \"From the very start of their incursions into Lebanon, the US and its surrogate the racist and illegal Zionist entity schemed to sow seeds of dissension between Hezbollah and other Lebanese groups and parties in a bid to thwart the role of Hezbollah as a political heavy-weight and to try to undermine public support for this highly popular Islamic movement.\"

Safavi drew attention to the usurper state of Israel\'s military maneuvers last month with the intention of attacking Lebanon and disarming Hezbollah.

He added that the US, West European states and a few other countries have ganged up together to try to undermine Hezbollah\'s Islamic resistance against the Zionist regime\'s invasions and crimes against humanity.

In this regard, Safavi deplored the treasonous silence of some regional states toward the Zionist entity\'s state terrorism and said that such an ominously mute stance is tacit support for the policies the Americans and the Zionists.
