The Lebanese National resistance has forced the "Israeli " troops out of Massoud hill near Maroun al-Ras and the liberation triangle( Mothalath al-Tahrir) following fierce attacks on the military enemy machines gathering in this region, al-Manar TV said.
The TV quoted the resistance statement as saying " The enemy forces and tanks have retreated from Massoud hill to Avivim settlement inside the occupied Palestine and from the liberation triangle in Bint Jbeil suburbs to the east.
The "Israeli " army, as al-Jazeera TV mentioned, claimed that the withdrawal is "tactical. "
The Islamic Resistance had, earlier, announced that its fighters attacked ten "Israeli " tanks and directly hit them.
Later, in the afternoon, the resistance said in a statement that its fighters fired a barrage of "Khaybar 1 " rockets against the Israeli city of Affoula.
" It is the first time this city, that is located south of Haifa, is targeted thus announcing the phase of "beyond Haifa ", the statement added.
"Israeli " army, in accordance to al-Manar TV, admitted that for the first time since the fighting began, a number of long-range missiles carrying a greater amount of explosives hit Affoula, 50 km away from Haifa-
The "Israeli " Security officials said that these missiles are of a big destroying power adding: " They have never encountered such missiles before. "
Earlier, the Islamic resistance rockets hit the "Israeli " northern settlements of Akko, Safad and the settlements of Kiryat Shmona, Maalot, Naharya, Snir, Carmeil as well as the "Israeli " intelligence Delton base.
For their parts, the Islamic resistance fighters pledged, in a letter sent to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, to be the sincere defenders of the Lebanese soil.
" We are your sincere promise and the blood that defends this country, " the letter reads.
" We are the liberation of the Shebaa Farms and the Kafashouba Hills and every inch of our beloved Lebanon. We are the defenders of the great people of Lebanon, we are the blood that defends the country. " The resistance fighters said in the letter.
In the same context, Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri said that "the "Israeli " hostile aggression on Lebanon is a retaliatory war aiming at implanting the US plots in the region. "
In an interview with al-Jazeera TV Berri added: " What Lebanon is exposed to nowadays may be moved into another Arab country so no one is apart from the "Israeli " US backed aggression, "
He criticized the US administration 's double standard policy. " The U.S. is combating individuals ' terrorism while it keeps silence regarding the regular state terrorism perpetrated by "Israel. "
