Taliban spokesman, Dr Mohammad Hanif, put the death toll in the latest fighting between the US occupation troops and the Armed Forces of the legal government of the Islamic State of Afghanistan at 6.
Hanif, in a telephone interview with IRIB's Pashto Radio said: "US forces on Saturday engaged a group of Taliban between the villages of Vazi Khua and Deilah in Paktika Province and the ensuing clashes led to the death of 2 US soldiers.
Dr Hanif added: "Taliban on Saturday night blew up a US tank with remote controlled explosives near Vazi Khua resulting in the death of all its occupants.
