A spokesman of the Military Committee's Headquarters of the Chechen Majlisul Shura State Defense Council reported to Kavkaz Center news agency about several combat operations that have been carried out by Chechen Mujahideen in country's Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt, and Kurchaloi districts.
On August 14, a sabotage group of Mujahideen attacked with grenade launchers and undermined with landmine Russian invaders' convoy on the road Elistanji-Vedeno. As a result of this operation one army truck was destroyed and one BTR armored vehicle was hit. 5 invaders were eliminated and 6 others wounded in that operation. During the short crossfire two Mujahideen incurred injuries.
In the same day in area of settlement Gansolchu Mujahideen fighters have undermined a cargo vehicle ZIL, killing two kafirs. One more undermining has been carried out in area of village Ahkinchu-Borze. According to the source Chechen saboteurs have planted mines en route of reconnaissance unit of kafirs, killing 1 and injuring 3 of them.
On August 14, a firefight occured with invaders in area of village Beti-Mohk. The source inside the Chechen command reported that Mujahdieen attacked the occupation Special Forces who have landed in this area with the purpose to arrange an ambush against Muajideen. However mojaheds arranged an ambush for kafirs, eliminating 2 and injuring 4 aggressors. Nothing has been reported aobut the casilties of Mujahdieen.
On August 15, in the second half of a day, the mobile squad of Mujahideen has entered into gun battle with a group of kafirs in the gorge of the Bass River. During the gun battle kafirs iccured heavy losses, according to the source.
It is reported that some days before in area of village Agishty a firefight took place with a big group of kafirs and munafiqs, as a result of which one Chechen fighter became a Shaheed (insha Allah). Invaders and their puppets' casutiles were 4 invaders and 1 puppet killed, some collaborators and aggressors got wounded.
The source inside the Chechen command reported that the gorge of the Bass River and a woody zone of Shali district, southern part of Shali town for two, have been subjected to aerial and artillaery bombardments.
