Operative Meetings Held by the Chechen President

A spokesman of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria's President  Dokka Umarov told  the Kavkaz Center news agency that in the last two weeks the President held a number of meetings with middle-level commanders of the units operating within separate sectors of the Caucasian Front and inside Chechnya.

 

In addition to military tasks, the President also broached and paid special attention to ideological questions  during his meetings with Mujahideen commanders and privates.

 

No other details on the series of  operative meetings of the President with middle-level commanders were reported.

 

Meanwhile, 23 Russians and  Proxies Killed in 3 Days Fighting in Chechnya. According to an incomplete tally provided to the Kavkaz Center news agency by a spokesman of the Chechen Military Command citing the reports of local commanders of Mujahideen mobile units and groups, 23 Russian invaders and their proxies were killed and  about 25 others wounded in 3 days of military operations in Chechnya, on September 4 to  September 6.

 

The Mujahideen units were active in the Chechen capital of Jokhar as well as in Vedeno, Nozhai Yurt, Kurchaloi and Achkhoi Martan districts.

 

4 Russian vehicles (2 armored personnel carriers and 2 military trucks) were destroyed.

 

Two Mujahideen martyred (Shahideen, insha Allah) and several others were injured.

 

Invaders' aviation and heavy artillery pounded Vedeno and Nozhai Yurt districts. No information regarding casualties among civilians was available.
