One person was killed and another two were injured in a mass fight in Samara, regional police told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at a vegetable store in Samara's Kirov district earlier in the day. A group of more than 20 people arrived there by cars, after which a mass fight began with persons of Caucasian descent who had been working at the facility, a police officer said.
As a result, one person was killed and another two hospitalized. Several others were given first aid and released.
"Law-enforcers rule out a possible ethnic ground of the incident. These are turf showdowns," the police officer stated.
