Another District Liberated in Afghanistan

Taliban on Friday reported to have liberated Gulistan district of Farah province after a brief clash Thursday night (Sept. 14).  Taliban attacked the district headquarters of Gulistan and took its control after a shot clash with Afghan forces. One Afghan soldier was seen dead, two puppet government vehicles were destroyed while Taliban set on fire offices of the district headquarters.

 

Taliban attacked US troops in Qala Gosh area of Ningraj district of Noristan province Friday morning (Sept.15). Two US military vehicles were destroyed in the attack but there was no information about the casualties.

 

Taliban blew up a US military vehicle with remote controlled landmine in Kamdesh district of Laghman province Friday afternoon (September 15). Details of the casualties could not be ascertained.

 

Taliban fired four rockets at a base of puppet army (ANA) in Qalat late Thursday (Sep. 14) and all the four rockets hit the target but no details of the damage were available.

 

Taliban blew up two police vehicles with remote controlled landmine in Seuri district of Zabul province lWednesday night (Sept. 13), killing eight policemen.

 

Taliban rejected puppet government claim of killing 12 fighters in Garamser district, saying that no clash was happened in Garamser district Wednesday night and Thursday morning (Sept. 14).
