
11 Russian soldiers and local puppets had been killed and at least 15 others wounded in firefights in Vedeno and Nozhai Yurt districts of Chechnya on September 18-20, 2006, a spokesman of the Eastern Front Headquarters of the CRI Armed Forces reported.
Local battles and clashes took place in the area of villages Sirdi Mokhck, Shamil Kotar, Eshelkhatoi and Aghishbatoi.
Mujahideen ambushed and attacked the enemy in operations agaist kafirs' (infidels')special forces troops. A Russian invaders' unit tried to block Mujahideen at one of operative bases but the Chechen fighters managed to withdraw from the blocked area although the Russians used their helicopters.
Russian artillery pounded 2 times the Nozhai Yurt district. No information about casualties was available.
Meanwhile the Russians reported the capture of 8 Mujahideen in Malgobek, a town in the Russian-occupied Caucasian Muslim state of Ingushetia, claiming their puppets blocked the Mujahideen in a house and arrested all 8 of them after a battle in which 5 puppet policemen had been also injured.
According to other information, the puppets captured 8 civilians after Mujahideen opened fire on stooge policemen during proxies' "purges" in one of the town districts. 5 puppet policemen are said to have been injured and all the Mujahideen to have safely withdrawn from the scene.
The Associated Press reported five proxy police officers were wounded Thursday when Mujahideen ( the AP calls them "militants") fired at them during a "security sweep" in Ingushetia, puppet officials said.
Puppet police and security agents were searching a house in the town of Malgobek when Mujahideeb fired grenades at them from a passing car. Five puppet officers were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, and the Mujahideen safely withdrew.
Puppets said their proxy police detained four "suspected militants", a term used by invaders for captured innocent civilians everywhere, in Afghanistan, Iraq or Chechnya.
