New Attacks in Chechnya Reported

2 Russian mercenaries from so called internal troops of the Russian interior ministry were killed during a diversion operation by Mujahideen in the Chechen capital of Jokhar on the night to September 20. The Mujahideen gunned down the mercenaries and confiscated their weapons, a spokesman of the Chechen Military Command said.

 

1 other Russian invader was eliminated and 1 wounded in a firing on a security post. All together, on the night to September 20,  Mujahideen attacked invaders' and puppets' positions and security posts in Jokhar not less than 5 times.

 

On September 21, Mujahideen attacked with machine and submachine guns an invaders' convoy in Kurchaloi district several km from village Nikikhat. The attack lasted for 10 minutes. No exact data on Russian casualties is available.

 

The invaders reported that last night a diversion group of Chechen Mujahideen gunned down a local apostate in village Yukerch Keloi in Shatoi district. The apostate worked in a so called military registration and enlistment office. 

 

In addition, the invaders reported that Mujahideen attacked a humvee of a puppet police head near village Mesker Yurt on the road to village Tsotsin Yurt. The puppet police head and one puppet policeman were heavily wounded.  No other details were reported.
