Fifteen years after the Soviet Union crumbled, Russia is facing a rural crisis. Most of its villages are disappearing because of a lack of jobs and facilities. About 300 kilometers east of the capital Moscow most of Russian villages are dying out. There\'s no work, no facilities and no prospects. The people are simply packing up and leaving. Especially, young people head off to the bigger cities.
