Estonians Asked to Urinate on Russian Invaders' Monument

Publication time: 27 September 2006, 17:39

Two monuments to Russian invaders were refurbished in Estonia in recent days, including one in the town of Haapsalu that was transformed into a toilet and painted with the words "Urinate here." The second monument  to bloody Russian murderers and occupiers in village of Lihula was transformed into a garbage site and piled with scum, while the monument itself was sprayed red.

Estonia was occupied by Russia in 1940, liberated by Germany in 1941 and reoccupied by Russia in 1945. It  remained part of the Russia's Evil Soviet Empire  until its 1991 collapse.

Although monuments to bloody Russian invaders were dismantled and destroyed practically in every former Russian-occupied country in Eastern Europe, they still remain intact in Estonia.

The US and Britain never recognized the Russian occupation of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania althouh they did and still do it in regard to the Caucasian states

Russians portray themselves as "liberators" but Estonians regard them as occupiers.
