Seven Russian Militants Beaten Up in Geogia

Publication time: 28 September 2006, 14:10

Seven Russian militants were detained and beaten in Batumi, Geargia, on Wednesday evening. A vehicle carrying a junior "officer" and six "soldiers" was stopped last night. They were beaten up, and their weapons and the vehicle were confiscated, the Russian invaders report today.

Meanwhile an Azerbaijan's  news agency  said that not four, as earlier reported,  but 6 Russian spies and terrorists from the Russian military terrorist  group GRU have been already arrested in Georgia.

Georgian police have surrounded the headquarters of the Russian militants' contingent in Tbilisi, demanding the surrender of the seventh.
