The Russians reported today (October 7) a firefight with Mujahideen that had purportedly occurred in Buinaksk, a town in the Russian-held Caucasian Muslim state of Dagestan, on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. The invaders reportedly stormed a private house there, killing 2 people and suffering no losses themselves.
The story looks fishy due to late reporting. As of press time, no information about the incident was available from Dagestani Mujahideen.
