16 NATO Troops Eliminated in Northern Aghanistan

A fierce firefight between Taliban and NATO troops took place in Wardoj district of Badakhshan province after Taliban attacked ISAF troops today (Oct. 13).  16 ISAF troops were killed in the clash. Five Taliban fighters including three commanders were also killed in the firefight.

 

Residents of the area while talking to Afghan Islamic Press confirmed that a clash was happened in the area and NATO aircraft also pounded the area soon after the firefight.

 

They disclosed that a former jehadi commander Khair Muhammad was also killed in the gun battle. There was no statement from ISAF and Afghan puppet government till the filing of this report.
