A high explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb ripped a US personnel carrier apart, killing five American troops in al-Fallujah on Friday, October 13, 2006 according to reports from Al Basrah.
A high-explosive Mujahideen bomb went off in western Baghdad, destroyed an American Humvee in the column, killing or wounding all the US troops aboard.
On Friday afternoon Mujahideen forces once again engaged American occupation troops backed by their puppet allies in the northern city of al-Mawsil. The Americans had lost two armored vehicles with the troops aboard them being killed or wounded.
In a fighting during the night in al-Mawsil one American Humvee was destroyed and five US troops were either killed or wounded.
