World Intellectuals Call US a Threat Against Humanity

Hundreds of intellectuals participating in the closing session of the fourth international conference dubbed "Artists and Intellectuals in Defense of Humanity" described the United States as a serious threat to humanity; the IRIB reported.

 

The participants at the conference which was held in Rome Friday, in addition to supporting the rights of nations and protecting the environment, demanded that the ground be prepared for the public to participate in their social affairs via group activities and dissemination of information.

 

During the meeting which was convened at the premises of the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) the world intellectuals stressed the need for launching campaign to establish peace, freedom and multilateralism in the world.

 

FAO is viewed as the main international organization, which leads global activities to fight poverty and hunger across the world.
