Islamic Preachers And Handicapped Man Kidnapped in Chechnya

Three Islamic preachers, Sigauri, Dimiev and Masaev, were kidnapped by Russian troops on the night between September 28-29, 2006 and are now held in one of the secret prisons in Chechnya according to a report from a Chechen group. They are accused of speaking against the Russians. Another Chechen citizen, a handicapped 21-year-old Surkho Saigotkhadjiev, was kidnapped on October 3, 2006 and is being imprisoned at a Russian troops base in Jokhar. The invaders accuse him of kidnapping several FSB agents.
