A powerful blast hit Russian occupation soldiers in the center of Nazran, the capital of the Russian-held Caucasian Muslim state of Ingushetia, at midnight local time, between October 20-21, 2006, according to a Russian news report.
A Mujahideen phoned a puppet police station at 11.30 pm on Friday and said he discovered a suspicious metal box near a house. The puppets went to the scene and found out that the box contained a bomb. They called Russian sappers to remove it. As soon as the Russians arrived to the scene in about 30 minutes, Mujahideen blasted their remote-controlled explosive device. The explosion was the equivalent to blowing up 1.5 kg of TNT. Russsians claim that they have suffered no casualties but their allegations sound very unconvincing.
