The Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is going to submit to the Ukrainian Parliament in Kyiv a bill on recognizing famine organized by Russian invaders in 1932-1933 in the Ukraine as the Genocide of the Ukrainian People.
The Ukrainian President spoke on the necessity to recognize starvation in Ukraine in 1932-1933 as Genocide during his meeting with Ukrainian community in the Gungarian capital of Budapest on October 22.
"On October 25 we will commemorate the anniversary of this awful event; before that, I shall initiate discussion by the parliament in regard to a bill recognizing Holodomor (Mass Famine) as Genocide against the Ukrainian people," Viktor Yushchenko said.
Earlier last month, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk, speaking at the 61st session of the UN General Assembly on 25 September, called on the UN to recognize that the artificial famine of 1932-33 in Ukraine was an act of genocide, deliberately organized by the Russianinvaders in order to holocaust the Ukrainian nation.
Mr Tarasyuk is convinced that such a recognition could be a UN contribution to for the preparation of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Convention for preventing and punishing crimes in the sphere of genocide, according to Ukrainian news reports.
The bandit state of Russia has a veto power in the UN and blocks every anti-Russian resolution.
Up to 15 million of Ukrainians were murdered by the Russians in this famine, according to estimates by Western scholars. The exact figues are kept secret in Moscow archives and are a Russian state secret.
The US and other Western governments spoke a lot about the Ukrainian Holocaust during the Communist area but now they remain silent on the issue in order to appease their Russian partners in mass murder of Muslims around the world.
