A bomb exploded by a US patrol in al-Fallujah on Tuesday morning. The witnesses reported that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding a fourth, the Al Basrah reported.

Mujahideen armed with rocket-propelled grenades ambushed a patrol of several US Humvees in the middle of al-Fallujah. They set fire to two Humvees in the course of the fighting that lasted more than two hours.US troops were unable even to approach one of the burning vehicles, making it probable that four American troops had been killed inside or at least severely injured. Then in addition, there were US soldiers killed or wounded inside the second Humvee that was hit.
A Mercedes car had been parked by the side of the road with the hood raised by the side of the highway in the adh-Dhi'b al-Abyad area of western Baghdad. A damaged tire was placed next to the car, suggesting that it was simply a case of a flat tire. But when the American column drove past, the car bomb exploded, destroying one Humvee and disabling a second. At least eight US troops were killed or wounded in the blast, witnesses reported.
A US occupation soldier was struck in the forehead by a Mujahid sharpshooter's bullet in the town of Tall Afar, about 55km west of al-Mawsil in northern Iraq, on Monday afternoon , killing him instantly.
