Iraqi Mujahideen Responded To Bush's Speech

Publication time: 27 October 2006, 07:30

Responding to a speech made on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, by Bush, the Ministry of Information in the Islamic State of Iraq issued a statement on October 26, 2006. Converse to Bush's discussion of future U.S. strategy for Iraq as a means to victory, the group finds only success for the Mujahideen and insurgency.

The message calls upon all Mujahideen to pledge allegiance to Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, Commander of the Islamic State of Iraq, to oppose the assertions of the (crusaders), Bush, namely that the establishment of an Islamic State will not be allowed. Praising victories in Mosul, al-Anbar, Diyala, Samarra, and Tal Afar, the message says that as news of the victories spreads, fidyaeen operations will increase, siteinstitute.org reported.

The message states: "We call upon every garrisoned Mujahid to remain steadfast in his Jihad, not to yield or submit, neither to make peace nor agree to a truce...[but] to support the brave State of Islam, for the weakening has spread among the infidel countries and the first indications of victory have appeared on the horizon."

Promising to "butcher jews" and their collaborators, the group states: "We have broken the sheaths, so our swords can always be drawn on the infidels. Our swords will only dull against their chests and necks..." The message goes on to chastise U.S. appeals for multilateralism, later calling on Allah to destroy America.

Meanwhile, In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, al-Rashideen Army also responded to an Eid al-Fitr speech by Bush, in which he noted an increase in attacks on American soldiers in Iraq during Ramadan. Dubbing Bush the primary criminal in the world, al-Rashideen leadership ensures that the coming months will be just as harsh on the enemy as and this will keep Bush the Criminal and his allies feeling sorrow and sadness, the Site Institute (siteinstitute.org ) reported.
