According to Russian news reports, the car of Magomedtaghir Magomedaliev, the puppet chief of the Untsukul district in the Russian-held Caucasian Muslim state of Dagestan, has been attacked with small arms in the Dagestani capital of Shamilkala (former Makhachkala) late Friday, December 1, 2006. The puppet and his brother were hospitalized. No further details were reported by the Russians.
