On December 8, 2006, at 5:00 am the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban exploded a remote controlled landmine at a U.S. tank belonging to a U.S. army convoy in the Sinaneo area of the Tarinkot city, capital of Uruzgan province. As the result of the operation, all soldiers on board were killed or wounded . Helicopters transferred the bodies of the dead away from the area.
On December 8, 2006, at 5:00 the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban attacked U.S. invaders\' troops in the Simtan area in the Watapoor district of the Kunar province . As the result of the operation, 5 U.S. soldiers were killed, and a number of them were wounded. There were no casualties among the Mujahideen.
Thursday night, December 7, 2006, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban attacked a security checkpoint manned by mercenary soldiers in the Shaoz area of the Farahraod district in the Farah province . As the result of the operation, the checkpoint was destroyed and 4 mercenary soldiers were killed. One Mujahid was also martyred and two more were wounded in the action.
Thursday morning, December 7, 2006, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban attacked and defeated NATO invader troops in the Pashmol area of the Zarei district in the Kandahar province when they wanted to enter the area which was in control of Mujahideen. The Mujahideen suddenly attacked them. The firefight continued for 2 hours till the invaders forces were finally defeated . There were not details on the casualties.
The Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban also fired 3 mortar shells and 10 rockets on the Sperwan hill of the Pajwai district in the same province where a large numbers of invaders troops gathered but there were no details on the casualties .
After the operations in both areas, invaders pounded the area and fired mortar shells on civilians, The Voice of Jihad reported.
