KC Somalia Correspondent Reports Operations Around Baidoa

Publication time: 11 December 2006, 22:44

According to a report from a Kavkaz Center correspondent in Baidoa , Somalia , the Islamic Courts' Army infantery has been seen in the Qabuuraha Aboo Casharoow district (on photo) located south of the Baidoa's animals' market, approximately 6 km from the city center.  But heavy vehicles of the Islamic forces did not yet enter the city.

The Islamic Courts' Army entered the district from the town of Burhakaba, south of  Baidoa, early morning on Monday engaging only in minor clashes with enemy troops because the bulk of the Ethiopian and puppet government forces are now engaged in battles with the Islamic Army at the Manaas army base, west of Baidoa.

Burhakaba and Baidoa are only about 15 km apart, and the Islamic soldiers from the south just walked and appeared in the market in the morning. It means that the road Mogadishu-Baidoa via Burhakaba is quite safe for Islamic forces and there are no heavy enemy defences in the area.

Incoming reports also suggest that Islamic forces from the Hiraan region, north of Baidoa, concentrated around townships close to the northern part of Baidoa.

Almost seventy puppet army soldiers to the east of Baidoa left their trenches and went back to their clan-based regions.

General Afgaduud, the highest-ranking general in the puppets' army was thrown into a prison located in the Presidential Palace by the puppet president, angered by general's defeat in the battle of Dinsoor. The general quarreled with the puppet defence minister because most of his soldiers who took part in the battle of Dansoor had been poorly equipped.

«The whole of Africa minus the Somalia ...»

Somali parliamentarians who are pro-islamic held a news conference in the capital Mogadishu to reveal a secret map smuggled out of the puppet "prime minister's" office in Baidoa.

The map shows the whole of Africa minus the Somalia , which is "incorporated" into the new Ethiopia , which is a secret plan between the Somali pro-US puppet "government" and the Ethiopians. Few months ago prime-minister of Ethiopia Meles Zenawi in a party meeting promised his country five accesses to the sea via the Somali ports.

The betraying puppet "prime-minister" is still out of the country ( Somalia ) with some of his loyal cabinet and so call "parliamentarians" currently in Nairobi , ( Kenya ).

Meanwhile sporadic fighting still being reported in the villages close to the Manaas military camp as 25 fighter vehicles left Baidoa to the front line now nearly just 15km away from the vicinity of the only puppet "government" held town.

Further 70 ethiopian and puppet former Jowhar warlord fighter vehicles are said to be on the move to clash with the Hiraan region's Islamic Courts in the centre of the country.

Traffic suspension lifted

The Islamic courts lifted civilian traffic suspension which was imposed yesterday, as they said no further conflict is expected in the roads between Mogadishu and Baidoa.
