Apostate policemen from the gang "Sovietsky district police department" arrested a young a Muslim after Friday prayers in a local mosque in the township Separatorny of Shamilkala (former Makhachkala), the capital of the Russian-held Caucasian Muslim state of Dagestan, on December 8, 2006. The Muslim was denounced to the puppet police by the mosque imam according to a report from a Kavkaz Center correspondent in Dagestan.
The Muslim died after brutal tortures on December 9, 2006. The brutality of police tortures was clearly seen on the body. Local residents including friends, relatives and acquaintances were shocked by seeing the body and gathered on Monday, December 11, 2006, in front of the building of the Sovietsky police department, demanding the apostates to answer the question why they had killed the young man. The puppet police gave no reply and only promised to punish those Muslims who were mostly indignant in their protests.
