British Tank Destroyed, 19 Puppet Troops Killed in Afghanistan

Last night, December 12, 2006, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban destroyed a base of mercenary soldiers in the Farahrod district of the Farah province  between Abkhorma and Farahrod districts on the Kandahar-Herat highway. As the result,  4 mercenary soldiers were killed and the Mujahideen seized booty. Two Mujahideen were also wounded.

In the earlier reported martyrdom attack on the headquarters of the Helmand province on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, in addition to killing more then ten puppet soldiers and wounding almost 20 others, the district chief of Washir named  Satar Khan was also annihilated. The explosion was very strong,  and it destroyed 3 pickup vehicles of the governor\'s guards which were parked in front of the headquarters.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 4:15 pm a British tank of was destroyed in a Muhajideen raid in the Alizo Kariz area of  the Nawzad district of the Helmand province. No information about enemy casualties was available.

On December 12, 2006,  at 1:00pm the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Taliban ambushed and set ablaze 6 pickup vehicles of the mercenary army on the Kandahar- Uruzgan highway in the Kighy (Albak) area of the ShahWalikot district of the Kandahar province. As the  result, 15 puppet soldiers were killed and the vehicles were destroyed in fire. The Mujahideen also captured 6 light weapons from the slain soldiers . There were no casualties among the Mujahideen.
