Five US invaders killed in Iraq

Publication time: 18 March 2007, 10:58

Five American invaders have been killed in Iraq including four in a single incident, the US occupants have said.

A roadside bomb killed four invaders on Saturday while they were on patrol in western Baghdad, the occupational command said in a statement on Sunday.

Small arms fire followed the blast, wounding another infidel.

The attack occurred as the invaders were conducting patrols as part of a month-old "security operation" to end sectarian violence in the capital, the statement said with terrible hypocrisy, because in reality this so-called "sectarian violence" is an instrument of the invaders in Iraq.

Another invader died the same day in a non-combat related incident, the occupational command said.

The deaths raise to at least 3,215 the number of US troops who have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to a count by the Associated Press news agency.

Mujahideen also liquidated three traitors, including a puppet policeman, in two separate incidents early on Sunday in  Baghdad despite a massive security crackdown in the Iraqi capital.

Security puppet officials said a these persons were killed and five "policemen" wounded when a roadside bomb struck a puppet police patrol near the renowned Al-Mustansiriyah University in east Baghdad.

Mujahideen have managed to carry out attacks of  retaliation in Baghdad despite the presence of 90,000 US bloody occupants and Iraqi traitors' troops  on the city's streets as part of Operation Fardh al-Qanoon [Imposing Law]  launched "to curb the violence", but violence will stop with withdrawal or liquidation of the invaders and their piteous puppets on the land of Islam.
