Islamic Courts mojaheds storm the city

In the heaviest fighting Mogadishu seen in many months former Islamic courts fighters stormed several district of the capital killing many enemy troops.

 

Major News channel like al Jazeera shown many dead ethiopian soldiers littered on the streets of the capital, puppet troops that were captured had their throat slit and burned, as day light broke many residents began dragging the dead bodies around the streets in a wild celebrations just like in the 1993 incident of black hawk down when US troops were slaughtered in Mogadishu.

 

Events started after isha prayers Tuesday night when heavily armed troops arrived and took over a "government ministry" in the south of the city, soldiers guarding the puppet ministry fled with out firing a shot, when they realized they were outnumbered, after several reinforcement arrived, the mujahedeen started their operations appearing on many sides virtually surrounding all the troops that arrived.

 

At least 15 of the enemy forces were killed and 2 captured and loaded them into a pick truck before the Islamic forces withdrew from the area, same operation were carried in other 3 districts of the city, as day broke well into magrib paryers fighting was still continuing in the animal market of Mogadishu.

Islamic groups that took part in the assault were the people resistance in the land of the two migration, and Kitabul towihiid wal jihad fii somaal (Brigades of jihaad and Monotheism in somalia) a new group that have arisen from the former Islamic courts soldiers.
