
Fighting between Ethiopians and Somali fighters cooled on Sunday as the dead were collected from the streets.
After fighting into a virtual stalemate the Ethiopians troops contacted the Hawiye clan elders and requested for a truce on Sunday, but many claim that Sunday is only a rest day as more fighters from both sides flock to the capital to face off a heavy fighting in the coming week starring tomorrow.
Many witness in the capital claimed that as many as 400 Hawiye fighters entered the city from the central regions of the country and are ready to battle the Ethiopians who have received another reinforcements from units coming in from Baidoa.
