Detained Palestinian Legislative Council member Sheikh Mohammed Abu Tir has charged the Zionist government in Tel Aviv with collusion in the plot to demolish the Aqsa Mosque.
Abu Tir urged the Palestinian presidency and government along with the Arab and Islamic countries to stand united in defense of the Aqsa and to put an end to the "malicious practices" against the holy site that are being planned with the full connivance of the "Zionist government".
The MP, who is incarcerated by the invaders into Palestinian territory ( the zionist regime ) said that the group calling itself the temple mount faithful should be checked, especially after its leader Gershon Salomon had declared before the media that the demolition of the Aqsa Mosque was nigh in order to pave the way before construction of the so-called temple.
Earlier, The Palestine Scholars League (PSL) issued on Friday a new warning against the serious consequences of the continued "Zionist attempts to harm the Aqsa Mosque".
It called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to rescue occupied Jerusalem and its inhabitants, emphasizing the Palestinian people's readiness to sacrifice all for the sake of preserving the Islamic sanctities.
The zionist occupants' support for the extremist groups seeking to destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque in order to erect the alleged temple is not new. Their inhumane atrocities is public but the International Community gives a blind eye to it.
It cautioned the zionist occupants, who have illegally occupied Palestine, against the serious consequences of continuing to violate the sanctity and sacredness of the Aqsa Mosque, emphasizing at the same time that any "Zionist violation" would pose a threat to the peace and stability in the world at large.
The PSL appealed to the Islamic world to intervene and save the Aqsa Mosque from the "dangerous and abhorrent Zionist practices" and to support the Palestinians in their defense of the Aqsa.
The Muslims all over the world should act now in order to save our 3rd holiest place of worship. The occupants of Palestinian lands, will have to pay sooner or later.
