In occupied Kashmir, the residents of Dodasanbala area of Rajouri busted a gang of Indian troops who were harassing people and extorting money from them while posing as militants. The people of the area caught a soldier while his two accomplices managed to escape. A pistol and a few grenades were also recovered from him. Talking to media men, the villagers said that last night, three unidentified gunmen forced their entry into the house of Dodasanbala area and directed the inmates to prepare food for them.
"After they ate the meals, they passed obscene remarks on our women, which continued for nearly two hours. After midnight they left the house and went to some other place in the village," said Muhammad Ayub. Ayub narrated his encounter with those gunmen to the villagers who tracked them hiding under a bush. They caught one of them, later identified as Mukesh Kumar. "His two accomplices managed to escape from the clutches of the villagers," said Farooq Qammer another local resident.
"After taking him in our control we informed the local police and handed him over to the police for further interrogation," said he. "As per the preliminary questioning and the documents like I-Card recovered from possession of the soldier, it has been established that he belongs to 40-Rashtriya Rifles battalion of Indian Army stationed at village Saj," Javaid Malik, told media men.
