Statement of the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate about the releases of French woman

The French woman Salma who was arrested on 2/4/2007 by Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khasrod area of Nemroz province with another Frenchman Eric and three other Afghans. Today 28/4/2007 Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has released her in Kandahar province and gave her a written message massage for the people and government of France. Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan want to send out a message to the world and specially France that Taliban want peace and that Taliban have the highest respect for women.

We want the French government to withdraw their soldiers from Afghanistan and show positive response in exchanging of prisoners and build a good relationship with the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, cause Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan want to establish a good relationship with every country.

 

Taliban wants to expose the propaganda of Human Rights watch, which claims that the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have no respect for women rights.

 

Our message to those countries people, who are taking part in killing Afghans "Why are you sacrificing your brothers and sisters for US policy."

We know that elections have begun in France and the government is busy, for that reason we gave the government  one week time to make good on or demands, to withdraw their soldiers from Afghanistan or exchange of prisoners.

A number of copy of letters was given to the French woman by Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
