FATWA on Pakistan

Publication time: 2 December 2007, 12:43
"Pakistan's Armed Forces Should Join Hands with the Pakistani People and Stop U.S.-Zionist Intervention."

Jamaat al-Muslimeen leader Imam Badi Ali (Greensboro, North Carolina) issued an Islamic ruling (Fatwa) on the latest situation in Pakistan (November 16).

Musharraf is the most hated person in Pakistan today. America's main man in Pakistan has been defeated by the great sacrifices of the Pakistani people under the leadership of the Islamic movement.

Owing to their defeat, the forces of kufr and tughyan are trying to replace Musharraf with another person of their choice.

This is a historic moment for Pakistan. At this time the armed forces of Pakistan must prove that they belong to Pakistan and to Islam and not to a foreign power.

Surely within the military, all the way from the lower ranks to the officers, there are tens of thousands  who still feel answerable to Allah Almighty and are devoted to the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

Pakistani people are demonstrating in the cities and the towns for their rights under Islam. Their peaceful protests have been met with despicable and barbaric acts of police violence.

We urge the military forces of Pakistan to rise up and join the Pakistani people in the struggle for independence, integrity and decency under the Law of Allah Almighty.

Already hundreds of Pakistani troops refused to fight the Islamic forces in Waziristan and Swat.

Rise up! Soldiers of Allah! and defeat the program of Imperialism and Zionism.
