Publication time: 14 April 2008, 19:59

According to Kavkaz Center's source in Wilayah of Nokhchicho (Ichkeria) of the Caucasus Emirate, since the morning of 8 Rabi' Al-Akhar 1429 (14 April 2008) several major clashes were took place between Kadyrov's and Yamadayev's formations in city of Gudermes. According to latest reports both sides have incurred casualties.

The Gudermes is sealed off by the gangs of famous murtad Sulim Yamadayev. Later on information was reported saying that Yamadayev's base is under siege. At the enter to the city block-posts of Yamadayevans and Kadyrovans are set up. Details are being specified.

Let us remind that Chechen murtadin ringleader Ramzan Kadyrov's main residence and the HQ of Sulim Yamadayev's "Vostok" gang are located the city.

Earlier on Monday Russian media reported about an incident occurred in the Gudermes with involvement of Yamadayevans, two of whom were killed. Russian media have not reported any skirmishes with Kadyrovans until 10 pm on Moscow time (9 pm on Jokhar time). Only after the information on clashed had been aired by Kavkaz Center, the occupation command admitted the fact of "skirmishes among the guards" of Kadyrov and Yamadayev.

Information on casualties is contradictory. Russian media do not report anything on dead or injuried. Kavkaz Center's source said 2 Yamadayevans and 6 Kadyrovans were killed so far, more than 20 men were wounded. Large numbers of Russian occupation forces are deployed in the city.

Let's mention in this connection that clashes and scuffle between Yamadayevns and Kadyrovans are occurring quite frequently. Some of them end in murder. So, in the last March during a clash one Kadyrovan was killed and few murtadin were injured in Gudermes.

The convoy of Yamadayevans was heading for Gudermes, where the main HQ of "Vostok" (East) gang is located. The convoy was stopped by Kadyrov's gang, who demanded from Yamadayevans to disarm. Scuffle flared up, which turned into a brief armed clash.

Meanwhile, Kadyrov's supports consistently appear on local puppet TVs with attacks on Yamadayev's gang.

Former Defense Minister of Ichkeria Magomed Khanbiyev, defected to kafir side, accused the "Vostok" gang and its chief Sulim Yamadayev in abductions, killings, beatings, violence over civilians, drug use and trafficking. He also said that "Yamadayevans not obey Chechen traditions and ignore all human laws."

Khanbiyev called for the immediate disbanding of Yamadayev's formations because they are nor more needed, since "the war is end, and they have no military targets".

However, the former defense minister of Ichkeria also said that because of Yamadayev and his gang, Chechen youth continue to go to mountains to the Mujahideen.

"For the full establishment of peace the "Vostok" gang must be dissolved", Magomed Khanbiyev declared.

Let mention in this connection that the confrontation between Sulim Yamadayev and Ramzan Kadyrov has sharply intensified when it became aware of resignation of Putin and appointment of his successor Medvedev.

Rumors immediately spread in Moscow saying that after approval Medvedev in the Kremlin, he will get rid of Kadyrov as the most odious legacy of Putin.

Commentators and analysts are convinced that Medvedev will begin cleansing Putin's supporters exactly from Kadyrov.

According to rumors in Moscow as a counterweight to Kadyrov, one of the Yamadayev brothers, who for several years sit in Russian State Duma, will be nominated.

Sulim Yamadayev is the head of "Vostok" gang, which formally included in GRU (military intelligence) of Russian "Ministry of Defense" and is yield directly to the leadership of GRU. The units of the gang are located in Vedeno district, whose puppet chief is recently appointed the Kadyrov's man some name Shamil Magomayev, a former chief of Kadyrov's personal prison in Hosi-Yurt. Shamil Magomayev is entrusted to "deal" with the "Vostok".
