Firefight in Urus-Martan district

Kavkaz Center's source has reported that in afternoon of Jumada Al-'Awwal 1, 1429 (06.05.2008), in woodland in Urus-Martan district of Wilayah Nokhchicho (Ichkeria) of the Caycasys Emirate, a mobile unit of Mujahideen clashed with a group of Russians forces the so-called "Spetsnaz unit". The source reported that the battle lasted more than 1.5 hours.

 

The precise data on the number of dead and wounded among the kuffar is unknown. The spokesman of command of Mujahideen reported that Mujahideen did not incur casualties in that combat action.
