Publication time: 10 May 2008, 09:23

Early morning of 30 Rabi Al-Akhar (07.05.08), the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab targeted a convoy of Tigre vehicles which came from Afgooye and was heading towards Baydhabo, with a deadly ambush.

This battle occurred in the area known as Tabeelaha which is between Warxaman and Wallaweyn, and lasted for nearly one hour.

The Mujahideen opened this battle with heavily mines/IED's which they targeted on Ural vehicles carrying Tigre troops, and after that they began using RPG's and other heavily ammunitions.

The Mujahideen verified that the Tigre enemy suffered the greatest casualties so far on this road, and three vehicles carrying Tigre troops were destroyed and also 70 enemy "soldiers" were killed and injured.

Totally, this battle was the battle that caused the most casualties to the Habashi ever since the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab promised to wage battles that will make the disbelievers cry, after they had killed on an air strike the army leader of the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab Macalin Aadan Xaashi(ra) (Abu Muxsin Al Ansaari)
