AlKavkaz website has reported that on 13 Jumada Al-'Awwal 1429 (18 May 2008), a unit under command of Amir Osman attacked a convoy of Chechen murtadin near the village Janni-Vedeno in Vedeno district of Wilayah Nokhchicho (Ichkeria) of the Caucasus Emirate. As a result of attack 1 URAL army truck and 3 murtadin were destroyed. According to the source, several puppets were wounded. Information on casualties of Mujahideen has not been reported.
On 15 Jumada Al-'Awwal 1429 (20 May 2008), Mujahideen of Eastern Front of Armed Forces of the Caucasus Emirate attacked Russian kuffar near the village of Tazen-Kala and Ersenoi. There is not exact details of the fighting. According to the source, during clashes 4 kuffar were eliminated and 3 Mujahideen were wounded.
