12 members of special police gang eliminated in Ichkeria

Publication time: 14 June 2008, 15:39

Kavkaz Center's source reported from Chechen capital Jokhar that about 10 days ago a large unit of special police gang members (OMON) stationed in the village of Old Sunzha (Staraya Sunzha) was transferred to the mountains. The source reported that two days ago, on Thursday, 12 caskets with dead bodies were delivered to the gang's main base.

The locals of the village, whose relatives work at that base, also told about a large number of wounded bandits.

No detailed reports are available about the specific location in the mountains of Chechnya, where the gang members of the collaborators' police were eliminated.
