Who is behind the murder of Ruslan Yamadayev: Kadyrov or Medvedev?

Publication time: 26 September 2008, 22:55

We are not dreaming up when we mention the ringleader of the Kremlin - Medvedev, rather we are relating information given to us by a source in the Mukhabarat of the Caucasus Emirate. Our source is a member of the special group engaged in tracking down the most notorious figures in the camp of Chechen apostates. There are 8 such figures, according to what he told us. However, their surnames have not been mentioned.

KC's source inside the Mukhabarat of CE reported that according to the received intelligence, which is yet to be analyzed, the elimination of Ruslan Yamadayev has been organized by the ringleader of FSB (Russian Secret Service) Bortnikov and prior to its execution it had been approved by Dmitry Medvedev. This action is the first major special operation by the new FSB ringleader and is a test of his viability.

In fact, the murder of Ruslan Yamadayev marked the beginning of combination of many moves by Medvedev the ultimate objective of which is Putin. Kadyrov is important, but still is only an intermediate link in this combination.

During the course of execution of the forthcoming operation to subjugate the whole authoritative, military, law enforcement as well as oligarchic cohort summoned and currently controlled by Putin, disposal of Kadyrov is going to be demonstrative and exemplary.

The planned large-scale "struggle with corruption" is a part of this special operation.

According to the information given by our source, Yamadayev's murder for the time being is not going to be officially solved, yet the "irrefutable evidence" against Kadyrov as the person who ordered it is going to be collected. And when the time will come these evidences are going to be published.

The right moment is going to be determined by Medvedev. It should be mentioned in this connection that Kadyrov's chances for arrest and murder are equal.

Kadyrov is the most striking product of Putin's reign and is Putin's personal handiwork.

A possible reprisal for Kadyrov is being planned as a blow to Putin to weaken his influence and show to others "who is the man of the house".

The objective of maximum is a demonstrative disposal of Kadyrov and his elimination. The objective of minimum is to raise a sword over Kadyrov's head thus implicitly threatening Putin.

It should be mentioned that Sulim Yamadayev disclosed to public the name of the killer - Ramzan Kadyrov and promised to take revenge for his brother.

In addition, mass media which is known to have close ties with FSB has started to give out signs pointing to "Kadyrov's trace" in the murder.

Here is a quote from an interview to "Moskovskiy Komsomolets" given by some unnamed source "close to the investigation of the murder":

"This crime is not going to be an easy one to crack. Particularly because no one is going to try to crack it. There will probably be only some imitation of the hard work. If not for that Russian Colonel General who accidentally got into this scrape no one would care to move a finger about these Chechens. Let them do each other to the last man. There is no point in investigation of Yamadayev's murder because sooner or later it will lead you to Chechnya, where you are going to be told to back off".

The operating sources in the Mukhabarat of CE reported that direct perpetrator of Ruslan Yamadayev's assassination is a person associated with the agent from the close entourage of Kadyrov.

It should also be mentioned that in December 2007 there have appeared some information in Chechen mass media about two killers dispatched by Kadyrov to Moscow with an order to kill Ruslan Yamadayev, who prior to this had allegedly been considered in the Kremlin as an alternative figure to Kadyrov.

According to the source the FSB had made it clear to Kadyrov that they would not oppose elimination of Yamadayev, like previously they have not opposed the assasination of Movladi Baysarov. Moreover, it was the FSB which handed over to the killers the route of Ruslan Yamadayev's movement who was returning after a meeting in the Kremlin with Medvedev's deputy and actually led the entire operation from the beginning up to the end.

The fact that the place of Yamadayev's elimination which is very close to the building in which the government of the Russian Federation is being headed by Putin is not incidental.

This is just a part of the operational data provided to KC by the source inside the Mukhabarat of CE. Information is being reported continuously. In connection with this some corrections of the scenario, but not the essence of what has happened, might take place in the future.

KC's sources are confident that the killing of Ruslan Yamadayev is a manifestation of the struggle among the Kremlin clans. And in this struggle Chechen apostates are given a role of a "sacrificial lamb" or of a "caliph for one hour", where "caliphs" are likely to become sacrificial lambs at any given time by the whim of the Kremlin gang.
