A roadside bomb targeting a police vehicle detonated in Shamilkala at the crossroad of Akushinsky and Atayev streets Friday around 8.25 PM, spokesman for the Dagestani Interior Ministry told ITAR-TASS.
The UAZ vehicle was damaged, policemen were not hurt, but the explosions wounded two passers-by, an official in the Makhachkala city police department told Interfax. A member of the Dagestani MVD told RIA Dagestan news agency that the bomb contained 7 kg of TNT and was stuffed with metal parts to increase the damage.
Meanwhile, police found 6 kg of ammonite hidden near the cemetery in Gimry village (Untsukulsky district) Thursday, an official in Dagestani Interior Ministry told Regnum.
