
One kafir from police was killed Tuesday evening in Shamilkala. A police station on Akushinsky street was attacked around 7 PM, a police inspector was fatally wounded. Later, an explosive device detonated at the incident location, police told Interfax.
Shortly afterwards, police chased VAZ-2107 car after trying to stop it on Akhundov street. During the chase, the car stopped after running into a house. In the ensuing shootout, one of the suspected Mujahideen was killed, three others escaped, police told RIA Dagestan news agency.
Three police were killed Sunday evening in Shamilkala. Suspected Mujahideen attacked a police vehicle by small arms fire around 8:40 PM in Sovetsky district of the Dagestani capital, killing three PPSM members. One of the attackers was also killed in the shootout, Dagestani Interior Ministry official told Regnum.
The killed man was later identified as 16-years-old Kizilyurt resident Rizvan Kurbanov, who reportedly left his home a month ago, an FSB official told RIA Novosti.
Meanwhile, two policemen were injured in an accident Tuesday in southern Shamilkala. A truck rolled over and virtually crushed a parked police vehicle. One of the policemen is in very serious condition, Dagestani MVD spoksman told Interfax.
