Details of Tuesday's Attacks in Shamilkala: 1 Policeman Killed, 4 Wounded

More details have emerged about Tuesday's attacks in Shamilkala. The final figures: one Mujahid martyred, one kafir policeman killed, four wounded.


A police inspector was fatally wounded by small arms fire on Akushinsky avenue. Then, when more policemen arrived at the scene, a 6 kg explosive device detonated, wounding four police and a passer-by, a security official told Regnum.


In another district of Shamilkala, police chased a white VAZ-2107 car on Gamidov street, after trying to stop it. The chase ended on Akhundov street, when the white car ran into a house. In the ensuing shootout one of the Mujahideen was killed, two escaped. The martyred Mujahid was identified as Jabir Kamaludinov, he was detained by authorities earlier this year, but then released, a security official told Interfax.
