A municipal official was abducted in
Dagestan Tuesday. Unknown attackers stopped Mercedes-Benz SUV with
Salim Salimov, head of administration of Chokh village in Gunibsky
district, and took away him and his 22-years-old nephew, police told
RIA Dagestan. Salimov's empty car was found 4 PM on the 133th km of
Makhachkala-Gunib road, it had a bullet hole in its windshield, but
no traces of blood or struggle were found, prosecutor's office told
Regnum.
Two weapons caches and two Mujahideen
bases were reportedly found by kuffar in Buynaksky district of
Dagestan. The first cache was found in a forest near Gergentala
village Tuesday, it contained a sniper rifle, bomb components, food
and syringes. The base was found in a cave near Manasaul village
Tuesday, it was suitable for living of 6-7 people, and was left 2-3
days ago.
Another base was found near Gergentala
Wednesday, and the weapons cache with explosives was found nearby,
police told RIA Dagestan.
One person was killed in a roadside
bomb explosion early Thursday in Khasavyurt. The 400 g explosive
device detonated on the crossroads of Magidov and Gorky streets
around 2:45 AM, killing a 69-years-old female street sweeper, police
told RIA Dagestan.
