Ruslan Aushev: ''The whole groups of youth are joining militants''

Publication time: 26 June 2009, 13:21

Former pro-Moscow president of Ingushetia, Ruslan Aushev, in an interview to the "Moskovskiy Komsomolets" newspaper said that "a tough response is not necessary" in response to the sabotage against Yevkurov.

"If you start to eliminate extrajudicially or with doing investigation, the ranks of militants will replenish three times. This is the worst option. The youth are now joining militants by groups, but then will join them by swarms", Aushev said.

Besides, Aushev does not see any reasons on which the ringleader of Chechen apostates Kadyrov should be responsible for the power block in Ingushetia.

"Kadyrov does not have authority on the territory of Ingushetia. Legally no one would want to obey him.  After all no one is pleasant when the neighbors come and start to be boss in your house. Actually, I do not understand what the problem is. And what, is the republic of Ingushetia itself not able to deal with extremism?", Aushev said to newspaper.

We would like to remind that Kadyrov pulled down Aushev after he offered himself in place of Yevkurov as acting "president of Ingushetia".

Kadyrov accused Aushev of "friendship with militants", in unleashing the war, and also stated that Aushev "does not have the right to mention the surname of Kadyrov at all".

Meanwhile, Moscow and the puppet regime in occupied Ingushetia sharply spoke against the calling of the so-called "congress of the Ingush people", which wanted to appeal the Kremlin with the request not to give Ramzan Kadyrov special powers on the territory of Ingushetia and to urge Moscow to appoint Ruslan Aushev acting "president".

"There no need to assemble a congress of people of Ingushetia", stated, in particular, a member of the Russian State Duma Gulnara Sergeyev. According to her, "the law orders a certain procedure for administration of the republic, in case of absence of first person in the country. And opposition's statement on the need for Congress is simply an attempt to seize power in a difficult situation for Ingushetia".

Earlier in the interview to "Reuters" Kadyrov said that Medvedev directed him "to go after militants in Ingushetia".

Acting puppet "president of Ingushetia" Rashid Gaysanov has also spoke against holding the "Congress of Ingush people".

"The decision to hold a congress of the people of Ingushetia, according to the Constitution, is taken by the President. I did not sign document to hold congress, and such congress will no be held in Ingushetia", official website of local apostates quotes Gaysanov.

Gaysanov has also said that to hold such a congress in the absence of "president Yunus-Bek Yevkurov is unethical".

"I hope that soon Yevkurov will recover, and if there would be need for the Congress, he would take such a decision", Gaysanov said.

Regarding Aushev's possible appointment in place of Yevkurov, the representatives of Moscow have already made it clear that they are not agree with such idea.
