The ringleader of apostates Ramzan Kadyrov said on Tuesday that he is negotiating for former head of the MFA of CRI Akhmed Zakayev's return home. Akhmed Zakayev is living in London since 2002.
"We are negotiating with Zakayev today. If somebody tells him now that I am waiting for his call, he will call me. He will tell me that he is ready to come [home]. We have this kind of good relationship with him.
I am saying that he should become helpful to his people at least once. I want this. But everything is in the hands of the Most High," Kadyrov told in an interview with "Interfax" news agency.
"Zakayev is the only man on the part of Ichkeria who I would like to bring back home. I do not know what the competent bodies think, but I believe he did not commit serious crimes. He is an actor who can talk nicely," Kadyrov said.
We would like to remind that earlier in the media with reference to one of the closest aides of Zakayev, Ivar Amundsen, the director of Norwegian organization "Forum for Peace in Chechnya", reported that Zakayev met in Oslo with Kadyrov's "speaker of parliament" Dukhvakha Abdurakhmanov.
Amundsen said that "negotiations are successful and they are very important, because Kadyrov approved them, which means Moscow has approved them".
Later Kadyrov's "speaker" disavowed this message, but Amundsen reiterated that such talks did take place.
Zakayev himself has said in an interview with radio "Liberty", that he carrying on with Kadyrov and with his representatives not negotiations but "consultations", and has refused to comment on claims of his closest colleague Amundsen about negotiations with Abdurakhmanov.
