Austrian secret services install bugs to Chechen refugees and track their movements

Publication time: 26 September 2009, 14:08

As reported by sources of Kavkaz Center in Austria, Chechen refugees are very anxious about the activities of secret services of this country.

The sources say that two Chechen refugees quite accidently detected eavesdropping and tracking devices fastened to the bottoms of their cars (photos).

Initially, they took them for bombs with a remote detonator and applied to the local police.

But the police said such things were dealt by the special service "VTB" (Verfassungsschutz und Terroristenbekaempfung, Constitution Protection and Terrorists' Fighting Agency).

The Chechens brought to the police one "bomb" and kept the second as a proof until all the circumstances were clarified. The "bomb" has been immediately confiscated by the police, and the secret services came at once to the address of the refugees  to pick up the second one.

However, the victims of the police arbitrariness made photos of the "bomb" beforehand (see below).

Chechen refugees in Austria are seriously anxious about their lives. Taking into account the activities of the Russian FSB (former KGB) and Kadyrov's gangs, the KC sources do not exclude that the Austrian secret service VTB acts either together or under an agreement with the Russian GRU (military intelligence) and FSB gangs.

The refugees have serious suspicions that the activity of Austrian secret services against them is connected with Moscow' plans of forcing Chechens out of Europe.

The sources say that the Chechen refugees intend to apply to appropriate organizations in order to clarify the legality of such police actions with respect to the people who are under the protection of the UN.
