Large operation of Mujahideen near the settlement of Arshty

Publication time: 15 November 2009, 13:33

A source in a staff of Sunzha Sector of the Caucasus Emirate reported to Kavkaz Center about a successful operation of the Mujahideen, which was carried out early on Sunday morning near the village of Arshty.

As the deputy commander of the Sunzha Sector of AF of CE Emir Arbi reported, at at 4 o'clock 30 minutes a unit of Mujahideen attacked a base of Russian infidels located in the area of Arshty village. The base of infidels was struck by rocket-propelled grenades, AGS, machine guns, and submachine guns.

Occupants tried to respond with the indiscriminate shooting that has not caused any damage to the Mujahideen.

Precise data on casualties of the infidels is not present. However, as a result of attack some trailers, inhabited by infidels, have lighted up.

Emir Arbi said that after attack on the base near Arshty infidels had sent a military convoy to the besieged invaders. But the Mujahideen ambushed the convoy near the village of Chemulga.

As a result of ambush actions Mujahideen blocked convoy's advancement. According to Emir Arbi, as a result of this attack one URAL army truck with infidels inside was completely destroyed. Several pieces of military hardware were put out of action.

Killed or wounded are present among the invaders, but their exact number is not known.

Mujahideen did not incur any casualties in this operation.

We would like to specify thereupon that the infidels have also reported about the attack of Mujahideen near Arshty.

They named the occupiers' base as a "checkpoint of police", and a military convoy that was moving to support the besieged infidels as "investigators of Committee under the Prosecutor General's Office who were going to conduct investigations after the attack by militants".

It is curious that the "investigators", numbering up to 200 men, were moving in military URAL trucks.
