Mujahideen eliminated ringleader of Dagestan's 'special task force police unit'

Publication time: 26 November 2009, 11:18

The ringleader of "Interior Ministry's special task force police unit" gang was eliminated on Thursday morning in the capital of Dagestan. The police ringleader was shot dead as he was leaving his apartment in a dormitory in Akushinsky Street of the capital Shamilkala (former Makhachkala).

Shapi Aligadzhiyev was head of one of the bloodiest puppet gangs in a rank of lieutenant colonel. It is reported that two Mujahideen approached the apostate and opened pistol fire on him.

Initially, it was reported that Aligadzhiyev was injured. He was taken to hospital in a coma, but doctors there said that apostate is already dead.

In response apostates announced that they "have arranged a hunt for the attackers". Puppet sources claim that one of the Mujahideen is allegedly killed and another is wounded. "The wounded gunman is hiding", the apostates claim.

Occupation sources told the eliminated Aligadzhiyev was an important figure among the apostates. He directly supervised over set of punitive raids on families of the Mujahideen, as well as the heading of the so-called "special operations".

Occupation sources remind that Aligadzhiyev was not the first important ringleader of apostates. Thus, on June 5 this year, the Mujahideen killed the ringleader of "MIA" gang Adilgerey Magomedtagirov, who arrived the same day as a guest at a wedding in a banquet hall of "Marrakesh" in Shamilkala.

Magomedtagirov was shot in the heart. Along with him several senior members of the gang of "MIA" were wounded, including the ringleader of "logistics units of MIA" Abdurazak Abakarov, who also later died in hospital.
